  2. You can make a slide show just using nero (up to 99 pics)

Else look in the guide section here, Using the guide u can make a
slideshow with up to 1900 pics using all free software.

    good luck

  4. I own a Napa 310, and followed the User Guide at http://forum.vcdhelp.com/userguides/92056.php. That plays fine, on my Napa, but my Yelo 800 DVD won't touch it. For my Yelo to work, i had to use VCD2TK, with the subsequent brain damage this program inflicts. I suspect VCDEasy's photo vcd's aren't exactly spec.
    Nothing if not difficult

  5. Try SSMM at
    http://www.joern-thiemann.de/tools/ssmm/

    Works great and it's freeware.

  6. If you absolutly cannot get it to work you would always inport the pictures into premere (or something like it, studio dv etc....) and render an Mpeg movie out of it and burn that to a vcd.

just a thought if your having that much trouble with it.

  7. I have used EZ CD Creator 5 PLatinum (It lets you add music to the slide show), I have also used Nero. I have Ulead DVD Picture Show, it works well but has file number limitations (99 per slide show, up to 99 slide shows on a CD.) You cant do transitions with this. If your slide show will play on thePC but not the TV, try using CDRW.

I have Ulead's DVD Picture Show also. I like it alot (add music and all). How well do these other programs work, in comparison? Do they all have a "add sound" capability?

    Nero: 99 slides
Ulead DVD PS: (99 per slide show, up to 99 slide shows on a CD.)

What are the other programs max pictures (e.g SSMM)?

  10. I don't think there is a max on the others except for cd capacity. Also, I saw a reference in this forum that you can get around the 99 max by using Nero to burn after you have created the ss. I haven't tried that. I haven't gone beyond putting 3 different ss on one cd and then watching it on my tv. I can do that and use the remote to navigate.

  11. I also forgot to mention, that Nero wont let you build and add sound. I have also done ss with PowerPoint but it is not as friendly. I think the most user friendly is Easy CD Creator Platinum (I don't think the other versions of CD Creator won't let you add music). There are more transition options with the DVD Motion picture SS.

Rick: Is there a fade-in, fade-out transition option in DVD Motion Picture. Where can I find the DVD Motion Picture software?

    Appreciate your response!

It doesn't matter, the stills are superior to SVCD video (480x480). Still pictures in VCD are as good as SVCD stills.
