Converting .VOB to DivX or MPEG1 (VCD)....

Hi everyone,

Is there any way I can convert .VOB files to DivX, or VCD? I usually use Rippack to create a DivX which I then feed into TMPGEnc, but this particular DVD is a DVD-R, and Rippack can't authenticate my DVD drive. I can, however, rip the .VOB files off it using SmartRip.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at the DVD ripping guides to the left. Since you can rip the vob files from the DVD-R, you should be able to follow them from that point on.

I liked Sefy's guide the best, as it contained almost any program configuration scenario.
