  2. Yes. Use VCDImager w/ GUI to add in audio tracks after your VCD tracks.

It's also possible to do that in VideoPack 4.0.

  4. If you use VCDEasy, what format do the audio tracks need to be in?

  5. The VCD specs support CD-DA tracks after the last video track.

However, the only program I know that can do this is VCD Toolkit. I don't know about VideoPack4...

bbb, you mentioned this before and didn't answer... I KNOW that VCDImager doesn't support CD-DA tracks at present and is in fact not a priority for the immediate future (I've had conversations with hvr about this).

I would like to know very much how you are putting CD-DA tracks on with VCDImager... (??cuesheet editing)

  7. VideoPack and WinOnCD will accept audio tracks in several common formats, but it's best to use a WAV file with regular audio-cd specs: 44.1 KHz, 16-bit stereo PCM. If the files aren't already in that format, I recommend you convert them beforehand for the best results.

(I've used WinOnCD with good results, but VideoPack is apparently based on the same engine.)

The Philips VCD Toolkit also records audio tracks, but it seems to be pickier about the file format. I could only get it to accept WAV files that exactly matched the 44.1 KHz, 16-bit stereo PCM specs. It won't accept mp3 files. Once again, it's easy to convert the files beforehand. VCD Toolkit is a bit cumbersome.

  8. I've tried to burn the VCD along w/ Audio Track via WinOnCD successfully in the Simple VCD mode. However, is it possible to add a track in Interactive VCD mode? Please advice. Thanks.

  9. Opps (it's been a while since I done this, forgot about adding Fireburner)

    1. Using VCDImager, I convert mpg files to bin+cue.
    2. Using Fireburner 1.X, I open the cue file.
    3. Then I drag WAV files onto fireburner.
    4. Afterwards, I burn w/ DAO, close session (no multisession), at 16X.

I use WinOnCd 3.7 Power Edition to made VCD's with basic interactive menu's, and background music. WinOnCD will accept WAV or MP3 as the audio source, although MP3 will take slightly longer to do as WinOnCD will encode it to WAV for you( to make it Red-book CD compatable). It's fairly easy to do, although the WinOnCD manual takes some decyphering.
