I initially bought a Hollywood DV-Bridge. It comes with a couple of packages that allow you to capture. Most of my DSS caps ( comp.video into Bridge ) I encode to 352x480, but they're captured at 720x480. Can I change the capture to match what I encode to? Would I end up with as good quality as if I cap at 720x480? Also, how do I know what codec is being used to capture?
Just recently I bought an RCA CC-9930 camcorder. In both cases I lately have just been using Windows Movie Maker. I have no idea how to find out what codec is being used. And it doesn't have the ability to cap at 352x480, is there any way to do this? Thanks!
