    I just recently downloaded some good .avi animes and want to convert it to vcd format. Can anyone recommend any freeware programs.

    tmpgenc is the best and free.however it wont always work with some movies.look through this site 4 something called nimo code pack.download it,but read the fine print 4 instructions.good luck
