I have a dial up modem and need to d/l a 41.1Meg file.
I can't stay connected that long.
    My friend has cable modem.
46 minutes! (can't wait to be able to get that)
He burns it to a CD and I take it home.
I have Win2K on the computer I want the 41Meg file on.
I get a "Disk is not Formatted" error when it is in my CD ROM drive.
I put it in my DVD burner (DVR-A04) and get the same message.
My old computer is Win98. It reads the disk fine.

Any thoughts as to why this would be? I even brought the disk to work and checked it on NT4.0 (NTFS) and it works fine.

    ??????

    Thanks ahead of time, Issachar

BTW, another guy burned a music CD for me over a year ago and it plays fine in the Win2K system.
Is there a difference between a music CD and a data CD?
The guy that made the data CD for me gave me a music CD today that he burned on the same system that he made the data CD on. I will try it when I get home this evening.

  3. Get a UDF reader he might of left the disk open. Or yor CD drive dosent like that type of media. I had a toshiba that did that till i flashed the firmware everything was fine then. but try the UDF reader first its free from roxio's site.
