  1. In Ulead's DVD Workshop, whenever I try to select a menu template or use the menu wizard, I get an error "unsupported operation," and then the program halts. If I use the "blank" format, it's OK. I have downloaded the extra content file. Looks like the templates are there in separate folders.
Anybodybody else come across this? Thanks.

  3. I don't know if this will help but...

I had a problem with the app locking up on the menu page, and turned out it was because I was using TightVNC (allows me to use the computer remotely). After disabling that, it worked fine. While waiting for an answer from someone more learned you may want to experiment by shutting down windows tasks one by one and see if that solves the problem.

I know this is an old thread, but there still doesn't seem to be a definitive answer. I just reinstalled DVD workshop after switching to DVD Complete for a few months.

I'm getting the same problem, only a little worse (see, some of us DO search the old threads before asking ).

When I try to use the menu wizard or a standard template, I get that "unsupported operation" message, then the Windows "Ulead DVD Workshop has encountered a problem and needs to close" message, then DVDWS aborts.

When I try to use a blank menu and build it from scratch, I add my buttons and my movies, then when I go to "make disc," I get an error message telling me there are no buttons in my menu.

I did NOT have this problem the previous time I had DVDWS on this computer, back in June.

So anyone know what's up with this?

    Thanks....
