  1. Whenever I try and add the mpeg file in the VCD creator i get a message that says "you will nedd to use and mpeg encoder that is VCD compliant" It also says that my video bitrate and and system clock refernce are not acceptable. I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this problem.

    Thanks

  2. I would suggest using another program like Nero that will allow burning non-compliant files.

If you really want to use EZCD, possibly for the menus, there is a way to 'trick' it into burning non-compliant files. I didn't come up with this, but I forget who did - credit goes to them.

Create a compliant file that EZCD will accept, and name it say 'dummy.mpg' When creating the menu structure in EZCD, point the program to dummy.mpg. When you're done setting up the menu, just before you begin to burn, go into Explorer, rename dummy.mpg to something else, say dummy1.mpg, copy the non-compliant mpg file (the one you want to burn) into the same directory as dummy1.mpg and name it dummy.mpg.

EZCD only checks for compliance when creating the menu, not when processing the file(s) to be burned. At that point, you can either save the project, or burn and it should go fine. Of course, for multiple mpgs, you would just create multiple dummy files - it can get confusing working with a lot of files, so take your time.
