New to VCDs....Need Help

Hey everyone !

Ok, Here is the questions I have, please email me if you can help me out so I dont take up any board space. Also, some of these questions may be in the FAQ's, but I didnt see or understant it (not to computer smart ).

Here are the questions:

1) I have some programs I use to get Movies..... ie..... SmartRipper, DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc . I need to know how to get the movies onto a CD (making a VCD). Like most are over 700mb and other 80 mins. I use (well tried) Nero trial and I could not get it to work. I could not even save them as data.

Gosh, you don't need to worry about taking up space here, I'm sure there is plenty of room. In fact these database forums are very cleaver and mostly store the data as plain old text, so feel free to ask anyone to answer here.

There again, if you cannot be bothered to come back and see if someone has replied, they you could use the "Notify me of reply" then magically you get an email telling you "Someone has replied" huh, it even gives you a link to click so you can go straight to it.... Gosh this is wonderful do you think ? 8)

Now then, I tried hard to work out what your saying, basically it sounds like your trying to put 81 minuets on a 80 minuet disk ?
81-80 that's 1 minuet over, WONT FIT !!!

Yep you can fool around with bit rates which reduce the quality..... So best is to fit the movie on "2 disks" since you paid nothing for the movie, I don't think spending a few cents on disks matters does it ?
