  1. i need to know how to convert asf to mpg...i think i recall doing it once at my friends with tmpgenc, but i'm not sure...however, when i tried it at my house, i couldn't get it past 1 sec. of encoding...i then tryed vdub, which no longer supports asf file conversion as of 1.3b

so, any suggestions as to programs, settings i'm missing in those mentioned programs, or do i have to mess with the hex editor??

the more simplistic the better, but i'd rather the fastest ...
    thanks in advance

  3. Try GraphEdit....quite flexible for pretty much any format that windows can read.
