Problem with Audio in Virtual Dub...

Hi guyz...

I´ve a little problem with a movie and Virtual Dub. V Dub opens the movie, but no sound when playing it. Under File Information -> Audio Stream -> Compression the following info is shown: Unkown (tag 2000)

Does anyone know an answer for this problem? Please help i don´t know how to fix...and i wanna watch this movie...

That looks like AC3 audio. There is a guide on divx with AC3 audio on this site at http://forum.vcdhelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=91588 by Stinky.

I have a AC3 problem again...

I have an Xvid/AC3 avi movie and i wanted to extract the ac3 with vdub and convert it to wav using headac3he, but it doesnt work...

I checked the movie with gspot if the ac3 codec is really installed, but gspot said NOT INSTALLED...

I tested several AC3 codecs...at last the dolby one...but all tries didn´t work...gspot still says ac3 is not installed...

whats wrong? please help harakiri is near...
