  1. I just can't fiqure it out. I have read through the forum and have not found anything that matches my problem. I had the older version of TmpgEnc 2.53 working on my comp, but when I installed 2.54a and try to load an avi or mpg I get an Error Signature and the program wants to close down. Then windows wants to creat an error report with something to do with this file (C:\DOCUME~1\Nos\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER39.tmp.dir00\app compat.txt). I have even tried to got back to the old version of TmpgEnc, and even reinstalled the OS, and I still get the same error, WTF is going with this damn thing. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks,
    Zorin

  2. Sounds like you are using Windows XP and run into some compatibility problem, have you tried going back to the older TMPGEnc to see if that one still works ?

    P.S: Thank you!

  4. The reason I suggested about a compatibility file is this: appcompat.txt
that sounds alot like Application Compatibility, which means there might be some compatibility problem in your system.

Have you ran and updated your XP using the Windows Update ?

  6. This might be a longshot, but try deleting your entire TMPGEnc folder, and re-download TMPGEnc and see if it works again.
