  1. I have used various programs to capture video using All In Wonder 7500.
In preparation for making a DVD, I try to get the files to MPEG-2 format.
Ulead DVD Workshop makes an AVI file first. The audio sounds fine. When I covert to MPEG-2, the audio sounds "tinny, scratchy, and hollow".
I have converted with various programs including TMPGen and even the conversion program in DVD Movie Factory.
Any suggestions how to get a better audio conversion? I know the ATI card has a 41000 audio limit and MPEG-2 needs 48000. Could that be the problem?
    Thanks as always.

I also have this problem when encoding from AVI to a DVD compliant MPeg-2 stream.
The audio gets distorted for some strange reason. (resampling perhaps ?)
When I convert to a VCD MPeg-1 stream it's fine.
When I convert to a SVCD MPeg-2 stream it's also fine.
Only when converting to a DVD compliant stream it gets distorted.
I hope someone has a solution for this problem.
