    My virtualdub wont work in XP, so what video capture software allows me to choose MANY sizes of video (eg. 160x120 up to 800x600) and the compression codec of my choice (eg. huffy, picvideo mjpeg, etc.)?

    What? I have WIN XP and virtualdub works fine in capturing. What is your capturing method (card? firewire? etc)

    I posted this 5 times already and no one on this forum ever responds... I have an ATI rage fury pro 32mb vivo and win xp pro... Ulead media studio can capture, but virtualdub can't ... says "video device in use"

    You could try IUVCR, its available on this site and optimized for XP
