  1. Hi all. I will be brief.
I followed the procedure to convert divx to vcd extracting the audio with VirtualDub to a separate file etc.. When I make the movie with TMPEgenc using the video and the created audio from Virtualdub (even playing the wav by itself) the audio is poor.
The video is excelent and the music and the effects are ok but the dialogs are very low. Any suggestions how to correct this?

    TIA
    JW

  2. If you mean Poor as in low volume then in TMPGE go to :
Setting > Audio > Check Audio Edit box > and set volume for 2 or 300% or more higher etc

  3. Thanks Wee for the tip,

Just for the information of others and after spending lots of hours trying to solve the problem, I found the root of the problem in the Divx movie, when you extract with VirtualDub the sound I had to do it in mono instead of stereo. Stereo was always giving me the same results but in mono (and increasing the volume as you suggested) did the trick, although the final output was a bit hissi.

    Thanks
