I went dvd2dvdr and followed the instruction. I used smartripper to extract the correct vob files with ifo. I changed all output files to the same name. I used ReMPEG2 to encode the file.

I downloaded SpruceUp 1.1 trial to create a menu. In the movie tab,, I right click to import the m2v file. However, an error keeps popping up when I select the m2v file (movie Tab) from the Spruce-It. The error msg states that

"Temporal Reference in GOP #2387 (Zero-based_ are out of sequence (0xc10b000a)

What is this error and how can I fix and get to next and final step, which is to burn my first dvdr.

    Thanks,

    Rage

  3. Just for the halabit... try importing the NON re-encoded M2V file.

I would say you have a corrupted MPEG file. ReMPEG will do that sometimes.

When you say DVD2DVDR, do you mean the guide or the program?
Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.

I acutally used SVCD2DVDMPG+ to create the elementary streams for use in SpruceUP. Never re-encoded and didn't use ReMPEG. Orignal MPEG file was created using ULead DVD Movie Factory. I'll try TMPEng and BeSweet to demultiplex and resample, and see if I get the same result. If I don't, then the problem must be with SVCD2DVDMPG+. Any other thoughts?

Problem must be in SVCD2DVDMPG+. When I demuxed with TMPGEnc, problem went away. Could it be the pan-and-scan fix that causing the problem? I hope not, that's the main reason I decided to try SVCD2DVDMPG+.
