DVD2AVI V1.86 and XP compadibility issue

Hello, was wondeing what patch, version, or differnt program i could use with windows XP because when ever i start DVD2AVI v1.86 it always crashes. I bet this isnt a new issue but i couldnt find any when i searched the posts.

umm you might want to try the orignal made by Loli J. version 1.86 is a fixed version but i really dont like it..i perfer 1.76 you may still download version 1.76 here at www.doom9.org

Thanks for replying pinoy2201. I have tried both thoes versions and they both crash

Somone has got to have a solution to this issue? Am i the only one who is trying to "make back up copys" with Windows XP?

I use xp and it works fine. I have trouble with tmpgenc sometimes crashing, somedays it will load d2v files and others it says unsupported file format!!. Can't load ac3 file in audio either.

Don't know the prob but I use DVD2AVI and Tmpgenc on WinXP and they both work fine.
