  1. I have used WinRar to unpack .rar files from Blade 2 and when I went to burn it I saw that there was a .bin file and .cue file.
I read about them and have trying to put this thing together for a while with no success.
I have tried to use CDRwin but it does not recognize my CD Burner(BurnProof).
I have also tried to use FireBurner but cannot seem to get it to work.

This is the first time I've worked with the .bin/.cue stuff....HELP!

  2. I had the same troubles but i solved it. This is how. The best is to install Daemon Tools at www.deamon-tools.org. This program create a virtual CD-rom drive. Now you can load the cue.file into the virtual cd-rom. And the great thing is, you can first control the file by opening the virtual cd-rom in any DVD or VCD software player!!! Then start Nero or any other burn software and just choose Copy Cd. Then copy the content of the virtual CD to the real CD-R(W). Good luck

  3. if it does not recognized your cd burner and you run win2k or xp it's probally due to the fact that there is no native aspi layer present in either OS, so you need to install one ( force aspi ro aspi 4.6 ), or you cn let Nero ( current is 5.5.8.2 ) burn it by selecting Burn Image -- File and hen selecting the cue sheet, and then burning.

  8. Thanks Kevin!

PlayinDirty101 I have been using VCDgear and it has made my life easier

I use it to change my bin/cue files to mpeg so that I may burn them to VCD or SVCD format depnding on the file type.

  9. Use Nero. Make sure you have "overburn" checked within your settings. Go to File, Burn Image, and select the specific cue file. This will burn your bin file. Now, make sure you change the burn setting to "disc at once" and you'll be on your way. I was able to fit a 815 MB SVCD onto a 700 MB cd this way with no problems. Let me know how it goes for everyone.
