assuming you had an AVi or DivX originally, did you play that ok with audio?
When you extracted the audio with Virtualdub did you save it as a WAV as per: http://www.vcdhelp.com/virtualdubaudio.htm
Then using TMPGE use resulting WAV as audio source?
Run TMPGE for a minute or two ...stop the encoding and view the short file...audio still there?"Today is only yesterdays tomorrow" -
Hey!! I have the same problem, but the movie is citizen kane, and yes the source file is avi, and yes when I play the movie .avi in my computer the sound is ok, but when I´ve converted it to vcd the sound is not there. The thing is that I had converted a lot of movies (avi to vcd or svcd) and this is the first time that I have a problem with the audio.
any idea? -
Hey so do I. I've encoded episode 9 of season 8 of Friends a gazillion of times and still... there's no sound. Not only that, but for some reason, it encodes the video twice so it becomes twice the size.
What's up with that?!
Twice the video, zero sound.
