    Hi,

    I'll keep it to the essentials only !

    I have a divx movie that plays perfectly in Windows Media Player and Powerdvd. When I covert to VCD with Tmpgenc (latest) (yes, I am stripping out the uncompressed WAV first), then play it on my standalone DVD player, the audio and video go in and out of sync quite often.. BUT - this is visibly being caused by the video slowing down and then speeding up (the audio sounds fine). It will go out of sync for about 30 secs then correct itself !

    Any clues where to start poking ?

    I hope that movieŽs not be THE MATRIX, because I have the same problem. Actually IŽm working on it right now, I think I could to solve it.

    If the thing is fixed IŽll give you the solution.

    maybe slow down the enoding process or use 2 pass
