    Anyone know if the Sony DVP-NS315 is SVCD complient? I cant get any SVCDs to work on it. I thought it was but am not sure if it is the SVCDs or the player.

    Im having the same problem. I bought it thinking it supported SVCD put apparently it doesnt seem to. Can someone please confim that the DVP-NS315 does or doesnt support SCVD

    Yes, I can now confirm that this peice o' sh*t does NOT play SVCDs. Grrrr. O well. Email Sony and maybe they will release a firmware update (are their DVD players updatable?). I have already emailed them but I am only one person.

    please also post that it doesnt work in the dvd players list. only one user have reported that it works but he could made a mistake.
