sometimes when i try to burn mpeg with nero it says i need to re encode
why is this , am i doing something wrong in tmpgenc??
also do vcrs have copy protect built in cos i seem to have trouble copying vhs to vhs

the mpeg issue is probably a standards compliance warning just turn it off you should be ok. and yes most vhs have a thing called macrovision which will either distort your sound and/or your vision.

If you encoded with Tmpgenc, using the vcd templates, then you shouldnt have any problems with Nero...
