Hello!
I have a problem with cutting a self-made xsvcd! The movie I converted to xsvcd has a length of 108:40 Min. The Calculated bitrate for two 80 min. were to low to get a good quality so I decidet to make an xsvcd with 3 discs instead of a svcd with 2 discs. The Calculated Bitrate I have used is 2798. I know my DVD-Player can play xsvcd but my problem is now, how I can cut the 2,4 GB converted xsvcd-mpeg2 file into 3 parts for three 80 min discs?
I have tried it with BBMpeg, the progroam I always use but it does not work because bbmpeg only cuts svcds no xsvcds. I you try to cut a xsvcd with bbmpeg the audio is auto auf sync after the multplex-progress (heavy out of sync!! - must be over 5 mininutes!)
Although Tmpgenc always crashes when I try to cut a mpg file I have tried this program too, but of course it does not work (program crashes an I have to reboot it). I have already tried every problem-guide of this (great) site to find a solution for the Tmpgenc-cut-problem but nothin works.
Plz, I need help. How can I cut my xsvcd-mpeg2 file in 3 parts for 3 80 min discs without getting an out of sync file? Any other Programs?

WOW, not sure why TMPGE is crashing I cut and join XVCD and XSVCD all the time with no problem, XSVCD's all the way to 4000 and XVCD to 2520, now I am using a AMD Qudspeed 1600+ with 512 of PC133 SDRAM, with a 30 gig 7200 RPM Hard drive, also I use Beta 12a TMPGE, I find the other versions to buggy to even try using. I can always zip my version for ya as a rar file at 1MB and send it to ya if you would want to try it.
