Delayed Buttons in Menu?

hi!
I wonder if any program can do some more menu effects like this:

I have a background movie for my menu with the Enterprise flying through the screen and finally goes to warp, which lasts approx. 7 seconds. now I want that the buttons and Title fonts are appearing after this 7 seconds (maybe with some kind of beam effect).
Is that possible?

It sound like you'll need to use Photoshop to create your own buttons and then import them into Premiere (if you use that editing program--hey, I can only tell you what I know, okay?). Import each button twice and add them onto a black piece of video in Premiere, like they're titles. Then render each of the two as two separate files, reopen them and put them into the timeline. Then pick a transition like 'particle' and drag and drop that transition between the two button files you created. Then render them and make them one file. When you look at the new file you should see a black background with the button and it should just break apart. With the new file back in timeline, right click on it and pick duration. Change the speed to -100. It will now run backwards, so that it will look like the button is 'beaming' into existance. When you save this new file, you'll have to save it in a screen size and file format that is compatable with your authoring program.

not your fault! I thought their would be an easier way to do it.
(especially since i have neither photoshop or premiere, i use Videopack 5.1)

Basically.. he is telling you to:

1) Make a film of the Enterprise beaming the buttons onto the screen
2) A Screen with the menu one it

Then in Videopack.. You can set the (1) film to run as the SVCD opens, and when done, timeout to the actual menu (2). Basically, you'll get what your asking. The Enterprise beeming the menu.
