I converted DV to VCD/MPEG and wrote on CD-R with Easy CD Creator successfully. This VCD can play on PC/DVD-ROM using popular software such as Media Player, but it can not be recognised/run by my standalone VCD player. Am I missing something or... Please help!

Have you checked if your DVD player supports VCD. If it does and still wont play, this is probably because it doesnt play CDR.

Thanks very much, VTEC9000, for your response! But, I was using a VCD player than DVD Player to play the CDR made. In this web site, it is only mentioned about SVCD may be played on a standalone VCD or DVD player but not mentioned about VCD. If this is the truth, I should have converted to SVCD than VCD, to make it possible to play on a VCD player...
