    When I start up PAL DVD Charlies Angels to be ripped I receive 2 error messages.

    1 No ASPI adapter available

    2 IFO is readable, VOB is locked

    What to do now?

    Already installed ASPI adapter but problem with locked VOB file remains...

    usually, if u use a player like powerdvd or windvd to play the movie for a few seconds, then stop it, that should unlock the drive, allowing you to procede with your rip

    All, I have tried PowerDVD to play the DVD, but even these players can't play the movie...

    i dont think this will make a difference but it might be worth tryingt o use dvdecrypter to rip the dvd instead...
