    Hello really basic answers please . Recently upgraded to windows xp and now cannot convert avi to mpeg using TMPGEnc version 2.54 , I always recive the message "cannot open or unsupported" , worked fine before with Windows 98 . thanks .

    look at the top of the window and you will find a search button. I am sure you will find what you need if you make careful use of it.
