VOB 2 Mpeg

Hello,
The DVD 2 CVD software that I have requires me to use MPEG format, when there are VOB files, how to I make VOB files into MPEG?? please let me know with any help. thanks

i personally use DVD2AVI to make an audio file and m2v project. i then use TMPGenc to loa dthe project as the video source and the sound file as the audio source and re-encode it to a dvd compliant mpeg-2 file.

Do you have to totaly re-encode the vob to make it into an mpeg, or can you just change the .vob to .mpg like you can with .dat on vcd's??

as far as i know you cannot, but try it, maybe someone knows better
