    just wondered if anyone has any info or links concerning ay new makes/models of dvd writers that are due out soon.i was considering buying the pioneer 104/A04 but thought i'd check out if there's a x4 speed dvd writer due out in the coming months,any links would be appreciated.

    Not that I have heard wind off, though at one point someone suggested perhaps this fall... but with quality disk costing about 3 to 4 dollars, and 2x quality disk costing 5 dollars or more I personally don't want to think about how much they would charge for 4x media.

    So far my DVR-A04 has been great to me, and I wouldn't hessitate to suggest it to any of my friends.
