Sound from DivX movie

The audio from a high quality dvd rip divx movie is not dolby digital. but sometimes if its high enough qualiity i would like to put it on a dvd-r, is there anyway i can take the audio from a divx movie and make it dolby digital so i can hear it on my home theater even though i understnad it wont be true dolby digital.

you can convert it into pcm format using winamp media player which is a recognized dvd format. Then but your stereo on pro-logic to give it some effect.

well ive actually been using pcm, but my reciever only does dolby digital and dts, and its connected to my dvd player via optical cable...still cant get sound out of it, but i can when i use an original dvd cause the big Dobly Digital light goes on...
