I am trying follow the guide Divx to MPEG. When I opened vdub everything went as the guide said, When I opened Tmpge, it said that it can't locate decompresser (codec?). So I am trying to download and install divx 3.11 and 4, but I don't think that I am doing it right. I am not too familiar with winzip files, so if someone could walk me through it it would be great! In the meantime, I have hella icons and stuff that are leading me nowhere when I try to let the system guide me.
so now, I downloaded divx 5 from divx.com and was able to watch a divx trailor. I thought that the problem may be solved. Only I think that with all my fiddling I may have screwed something up, because now when I open vdub and try to open the video file, it says that my documents folder is not accessable. what the &$*% did I do? I can explore my folders fine and everthing looks cool, but when I try to browse to the corrct file, it wont let me. It says that I must verify that the path to my location is correct. what does this mean? Everytime I almost get somewhere, I screww up again! I am a serious newbie, so It would be great if a compassionate pro or other experienced person would lend me a hand! Remember when you were a nu booty? HELP!![]()
