I'm new to this but I have read all the guides. I was wondering what the best way or template is to rip dvd to cd.

I have an apex dvd ad-1500.

Is ntsc better or ntsc film, seems like you could fit more since it has less frames for film.

also, i'm ripping using smart ripper, dvd2avi and then tmpgenc, then burning and chapters using vcdeasy, is this the best way.

I want best possible quality to fit on one cd, i am willing to drop audio quality, what is the lowest I should drop it?

Also, is there a way to use svcd without all the blocks or should i just stick to vcd.
