I try to convert a avi (352 * 288 25 fps) to mpeg. The avi is aprox 21 minut and 110 mb.
When i try to convert using tmpgenc i get info that it is 120 minuts long. I have tried to convert it and the video is good for the 21 minut it should be but the rest of the time is black screen. The sound is also gone.
What am i doing wrong.
If you guys need additional info please let me know.
I hope that you can help me![]()

When you load into TMPGenc (hopefully using a PAL VCD template!) select Setting>>Advanced>>Source range. Alter the start frame and End frame to correspond to the 21 mins of your input video, and then encode. This should only encode a 21 min mpg. You may still have no sound, so the way to deal with this is to use Virtualdub to load the avi. Select Audio>>Full processing and then File>>Save wav to save an uncompressed wav file Use this as the audio input to TMPGenc instead of the avi.
