I've had this problem with two dvds (snow dogs and Someone like you). I ripped the dvd with smartripper into the ac3 and m2v. when I open the files in spruce up or impression the last 15 minutes or so are missing and I get an error. Here's the odd thing, the entire ac3 file is there, just not the m2v? Any ideas on what the problem is? To make sure I was doing it correctly, I went back the vcdhelp and followed the ripping procedure to the letter. Thanks for any suggestions.
