hello all does anyone know a peice of software that will tell me the exact duration of an mpeg2 file to the millisecond EG 02.34.00.98<<
i neeed to know this info coz im tryin to prevent audio sync errors
in a lord of the rings dvd im working on please any hepl would be gratefully recieved as up till now i aint found a thing to help
also does any one have a fool proof way of creating a dvd with no chance of audio sync probs
i use dvdit pe 2.5 and seem to get sync errors all the time
am i using the wrong software to author dvds is their a better way ?
wats the best format bitrate etc for the audio for a dvd

Use DVD2AVI and then frameserve to VirtualDub, you will get the information you are looking for. If VirtualDub does not read the .d2v file directly (I can't remember), then you just need to use VFAPI reader to bridge them.
