"Memento" AVI -> VCD: Can't get audio synchronised!!!

Everything i've tried! Extracting the .WAV file, every acceptable bitrate, with subtitles, without subtitles but i can't get the audio synchronised with the video... Has somebody experienced the same problem or, more important, is there anybody with a solution?

Yup, know what you are talking about, I had the same problem.

In TMPGEnc (I assume you are using it), under Environment Settings/VPAFI settings, right click on the directshow filter and promote it until its priority reads 4 or 5 .
This improves the ability of TMPGEnc to read AVI files in much the same way your media player does. It should solve your synch problems - I know it worked for me.
