Ok, ripped the DVD (Spy Games) with Smart Ripper, Used DVD2AVI for all the other bits and now its time to encode!! I've already put the film onto two VCD's and now I want a good copy to burn as a dataCD (Nero). Using DVDx 1.8 (Doubt versions matter), I've chosen Lame as the audio part of the AVI (224KB, 19500HzLOW/-1HzHIGH) and usually I chose DivX 4.12 as video codec... Is this a good idea for the settings? What resolution will it look good with? (700MB CD remember) and does it change because it is widescreen? Do I use LetterBox or 16:9?
Thanks
Oh yeah! and when it plays, the sound pauses for a brief second every few seconds - how can I help this, its damn annoying!
Thanks again!!!
