Hello all,
This is my dillema: I am using virtual dub to capture files. When I am finished capturing, I save the file as an avi (using the huffy codec for compression). Next I open up dvd2svcd, and use the avi2svcd feature to open the avi file and convert it to mpeg 2 svcd format. Here's where I am having problems. When its finished encoding and I play the file back, there is no audio. What I have tried doing is taking the extracted audio wav file that dvd2svcd creates and re-encoding to mp2 encoded audio using tmpeg. I then use the mpeg tools simple multiplex feature of tmpeg to recombine the video I encoded and the newly encoded audio mp2 file from tmpeg. The problem then is that the audio is out of sync. There is no problem with the video, just the audio. The audio is there and in sync on the original captured file. Sorry for the long post, but I'm out of ideas.

I am afraid I cant give you the answer you are looking for, but if you click the search button at the top of the page and type something like 'audio sync' into the search box, there is a pretty good chance this kind of problem has already been discussed.
