I am trying to find something out. I have a problem with VirtualDub that started about 3 weeks ago, when I go to encode the movie into Divx from Mpeg ( captured in MMC 7.6 ) it will start encoding for about 18-21 min & then it gets stuck ( I have the dump that VirtualDub gives you ).
I am using Divx 5.0.1 & Radium MP3 codec for audio ( I do the appropriate bit rate for the Divx & 128kb for the audio )
So I thought it had something to do with the Divx 3.11 I installed together with Divx 5, then however I had a Hard Drive problem so I have put new HD in & installed WindowsXP Pro etc all from scratch, installed the Divx, installed the Radium MP3 codec & installed VirtualDub, I started the encode & the same thing happens. New everything & it still happens. I am stumped. I do not know what it can be. Please help me.
I had this working ( same setup ) for about 8 months with out any problems ( I may have had an older version of VirtualDub )
    Thanx.
    Here is the CrashDump file

Yury, thank you for your suggestion ( I always thought that Flask was used to conver DVDs to AVI for the most part )
I will give it a try, however, I have used the VirtualDub to convert MPEG to AVI (Divx) & it worked with out any problems.
I am not sure where the above described problem comes from.
I got the tutorial from here on how to convert MPEG to AVI (Divx) using VirtualDub.
Thank you however, I will try what you suggested
