  1. I have a DVD, that will not play in my DVD drive on my computer (it plays fine in my home DVD player).

I have tried to decyrpt it with multiple programs (DVD Decrypter was the last I tried), none of which work.

After decrypting the DVD, when I go to play it, the first 3-4 minutes of the move appear to be fine. When the Title of the movie is displayed, it will play a few seconds of the film, display the title in English, then play the same few seconds of the film again and display the title in Spanish, and I loose audio when this happens.

Any way to get around this?

    Thanks,

When decrypting the video are you using file mode or movie mode? (Sorry these are SmartRipper terms, I have never had a need to use anything else)

Many DVDs are multi-angle and will result in the effects you describe when ripped incorrectly.

  3. I tried to use smartripper, but could not get it to work properly on XP. I finally got a program called decrypter to work, I had to choose video angle 1, and it worked great.

Dave B, thanks for the input, you put me on the right track.

    Thanks,
