  1. I just recently visited this site and am just learning about making VCD's. I have followed the tutorials on the site and everything worked good. The only problem I had was: I have downloaded several music video files (they are all mpeg format) and was burning them to VCD, all of them worked using VCDEasy, except on two of the music video files I have, an error message came up saying "unknown frame rate", and both those files are at 30.000 fps. So VCDEasy would not accept those files to burn. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to these files to be able to burn them to VCD?
One other question, another music video file I have would not work. The error message on that one said that the "analyse failed", and that the program only accepts multiplexed streams. Any clue on what needs to be done to that file?

Thanks for your help, in advance, I really appreciate it!

  2. The 30.000 fps is none standard frame rate that is why VCDEasy won't burn it. 29.97 fps is the standard frame rate for NTSC in the USA. Some programs and or people round it off . You can get it to except this frame rate by turning off(unchecking) "analyse Mpeg Files' and "Perform some MPG compliance checks ' near the bottom of the VCDEasy Screen. This has worked for me as long as there aren't other problems with the file. Plays fine on any PC and works in my stand alone DVD player but not sure all will play odd frame rates.
