Which type of computer to buy

I have a Dazzle Digital Video Creator 2 and I am considering buying a new computer with a 2100 Athlon processor on a VIA KT266A Chipset but I have heard that the Dazzle DVC 2 has problems on the Via chipsets, is this true. Should I buy the computer with a Athlon of spend more of a Pentium 4 system.

Look I'm sorry about the multiple post and I won't do it again but people like you make me sick with your attitude problems. I wantet a question answer badly but I dont need your preaching, keep it to your self.

And you say we have attitudes? Why not do a self-check. We don't preach, we let people know when they are breaking forum rules because they refuse to read them before they post. If you break the rules don't whine about not receiving answers. If you want my answer check out your other post.

I wantet a question answer badly

This is exactly why there are many forum topics. Anyone interested in answering your question will be a reader of the forum with the correct topic. By only posting in one forum, it allows everyone to get their questions answered. Also, disrepecting fellow board members is the LEAST likely way of getting your questions answered. In fact, it is best to thank them in advance for sharing their knowledge with us for free.

If there are reports of a compatability problem between your capture device and a chipset then avoid that chipset.

Personally, I was thinking dual Athlon MP but went with a Intel P4/2.0 with Intel motherboard. I have not read reports of thse giving any of the problems seen with many capture programs. Your mileage may vary.

Hopefully, this is the last time I will have to post on this topic but if you have that much problem with me posting to two forums instead of one then maybe you should use a chill pill. I stated I wouldn't double post anymore and if that ain't good enough for you then too bad.
