    The VirtualDub -> MJPEG -> TMPGENC guide at http://www.vcdhelp.com/mjpeg.htm is called "How to Capture to lossless AVI and after convert to VCD,SVCD with any TV-Card or Video-In-Card"

    MJPEG is a lossy codec not lossless.

    Bloody good guide tho...
