  1. Every time i encode a Divx to SVCD with TMpeg i get a series of 9 white small squares in the top right hand corner of the picture. They are arranged in a neat square 3*3. Although everything else in the conversion is smooth and my results are very good quality i just dont want these squares in the top right hand corner. Any helpfull suggestions ?

  2. I remember reading about this issue but I cannot remember the source, The person has the exact same problem. If I remember correctly this person stated that the issue was related to the software player that was used to play the movie. He/she also stated that theSVCD played without any visual problems when played on a set top box.

Try using another software DVD player or see if it plays on your set top.

    Hope this helps.

  3. I have found the problem, it was a MV2 codec that id downloaded, i now use one thats floating about on the net by Stinky i think. It works fine. As for the files i did convert using the older codec, they do indeed play faultlessly on standalones.
