  1. Hy guys,
I need to convert an AVI movie because it's to big for a cd.I try to use Virtual Dub but I can openn my file.
Then I try to cionvert with TMPGEnc but when I try to open my AVI file(the source file) the program show me this message: "name of my file.avi" can not open or unsupported.

If I try to open with TMPGEnc the original file(mpeg) it let me to open...how can I convert my file?
I make it with Adobe Premiere, and I export it in AVI format...

    Thanks

  3. Thank you..now I try to see the guide you said.
I don't cut because the video is long only 4 minutes...
I said "if I try to convert the original video(Mpeg)" only for say the TMPGEnc don't let me to work on AVI video but it let me WITH a Mpeg video...

  4. Remember that AVI alone doesn't mean much. Important is the codec which is used for the AVI (divx, mjpg, huff,...)

  5. It's the firt time I worked with video..and i'm learnning alone.
I record a video with my camera and I import it on computer thanks to a friend. Then I used Adobe Premiere for cut and put music and transitions beeetween the scenes. To see my work I export the project with Aobe Premiere in AVI but I don't know yhe codec...but I really need to put my video on a cd,it's only 4 minutes and I can' believe I can't convert in a smallest format.
May be my problem is the codec because I use Virtual Dub and TMPGEnc but I can' worked on muy file.
How can I see the codec of my Video?
    Thanks a lot
