Mpeg repair - patching pan and scan info

Does anyone know how to use Mpeg repair 1.58 to patch the pan and scan info of a mpeg file?

I've been using guides to put svcd onto dvd-r. The only problem I consistently have is the picture is never quite centered right.

I have a Pioneer 333 dvd player. I've read in other posts that you can use mpeg repair 1.58 to patch the pan and scan info on the mpeg to fix the prob. but I've not been able to find any instructions on how to do so.

Any help would be great!!

I don't think, that MPEG Repair give you the option to patch an existing MPEG-2, as far as I understand that, it is only an encoder option.
