    Hi All,

    What dows "General use" means in the description of the DVD writing capabilities of the Pioneer DVD-RW Drives?

    I use the general use DVDs from meritline $1.30 apiece and have no problems with Video or data put on these, I have sent DVDs to many people and they are VERY compatable.

    "General Use" DVD-Rs are the standard, everyday recordable media. The other catagory is "Authoring Use" DVD-Rs, which (as you might suspect) are used primarily for authoring a DVD. The two are not interchangeable, because each requires a different laser wavelength to burn.
