  1. ---I am trying to convert a movie. Some of you say that if tmpegnc doesn't work, try virtual dub first, estracting file to change to wav. But ia get this deal saying you can't open a asf file, something to do with a microsoft patent and all. Why is this happening and how do I avoid this problem?

  6. Look at all those links along the left side (the "port" side) of the site. Try the one that says TOOLS.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  7. to convert an ASF into an MPEG, do this

download this program and install it
    http://www.tmpgenc.net/e_main.html

    open teh program
enter the asf file as the video source
enter the asf as the audio source
go to file, output as, MPEG file

    it's that easy.
