Is This A Virus !!!???!!!

Hi, hope someone can help as I received an email via a known friend informing me of the following exe that has proliferated via msn messenger. Can anyone confirm this please???
I was told to search for

jdbgmgr.exe on the C drive.

This comes up with a teddy bear icon which is located in C:\Windows\system folder

When I right click on the properties for this it says that it is a Microsoft Debugger Registrar for Java. This appears to have been created back in March although the email refers to the fact that the virus has a 14 day hibernation period. I have scanned with Norton and nothing is detected.
Does anyone know if this is a false alarm ????

O.K. this does appear to be a hoax.....Here wassomething that I dug up off of Symantec :-

Feel sorry for all of my friends who will now have deleted a perfectly legitimate file.........

Ok its been a long time since i have used anything below windows 98 so i cant say about the rest but the teddy bear is in windows its not a virus you can go out and get a new copy and it will still be there.I believe that the teddy bear is setdebug.

Yeah, it's a hoax. My girlfriend asked me about it the other day. I read the Email that she got about it; it looked dubious because of all the forwarding that went on before it reached her, also any Email that tells you delete system files is highly suspect in itself. I had a look at it (the file it tells you to delete) and found it to be a M$ debugger registrar for Java 4.
