i have managed to make a few vcds, however my last 10 attempts have failed, my dvd player just comes up as 'cd' and plays nothing. i think the problem is in my encoding what does one do when its not a straight forward divx with the right sound. i have movie which is this 704x384,
divx 5, 23,976fps. sound is 48000hz channels 5 stereo compression unknown tag. can this be converted or am i wasting my time? i use tmpg, virtua dub, goldwave and xfiles inc thanx

Use BeSweet to extract the 5 channel audio and convert it to stereo wav format. Use that as the audio source when converting with TmpGenc. Also, as the source is 23.97fps be sure you select the NTSC film template. That should do the trick
